REGULAR (Share) SAVINGS ACCOUNTS
Because, as a member, you actually own a share of the Credit Union, your savings are deposits in a share account. Your initial deposit makes you a shareholder, and each additional $5.00 deposit, in effect, purchases another share. Deposits may be made in any amount, not just $5.00 increments, and the more your deposit, the greater your holdings in the Credit Union. Deposits may be made by payroll deduction, in person at the Credit Union or via mail. Divideneds on share accounts are currently posted quarterly and compounded on the average daily balance in the account. Click here to see our Rates.
SHARE DRAFT (Checking) ACCOUNTS
A minimum of $250.00 is required to open your Share Draft (checking) Account.
LIFE SAVINGS INSURANCE
The Credit Union also provides life savings insurance to eligible members at no additional cost, in accordance with our contract with CUNA Mutual Insurance Society. A member can earn insurance up to a maximum of $2,500.00 on his or her savings at the Credit Union. Insurance coverage varies with the members age.
LOANS
Providing low cost loans is the principle on which Credit Unions were founded. For you, the member, loans are available for most productive purposes: autos, trucks, motorcycles, boats, appliances, vacations, home improvements, educational expenses, signature loans, etc. Creditors Disability insurance and Loan protection insurance are provided at a low cost. This insurance covers your loan payments in the event that illness or injury prevents you from working.
